Nekozaemon was a feline drawn into existence by Kurozumi Kanjuro through the Fude Fude no Mi. Its single purpose was to ferry travelers up Zunesha's towering leg toward Zou, a climb it began but never finished.
The creature took the form of an oversized housecat. Its coat was white, marked here and there with patches of brown, and its eyes glowed a flat yellow.
Very little can be said about its inner character, since it spoke and revealed nothing. What it did show was persistence: it kept hauling itself upward along the elephant's limb even as the ascent grew punishing, suggesting a creature devoted to the task it had been made for.
After Bariete knocked the group off Ryunosuke, Kanjuro inked Nekozaemon into being so that it could lift him, Kin'emon, and the Mink up the side of Zunesha. Carrying two grown men on its back, the cat managed to scale part of the colossal leg, an undertaking that strained it badly. By dusk it had reached only midway, and Kin'emon openly doubted it could finish. Kanjuro insisted cats were natural climbers, but moments later Zou's eruption rain poured down the limb. Water was its fatal flaw, and on contact the animal simply dissolved away to nothing.

Nekozaemon dissolved into nothing after rain from Zou's volcanic eruption poured down onto it, since water was its fatal weakness.
No, Nekozaemon only made it about halfway up Zunesha's leg by dusk, straining badly under the weight of two grown men, and Kin'emon doubted it could finish the climb before it dissolved in the rain.
