Nerine is a non-canon character introduced in the game One Piece Odyssey. Once a soldier under the Donquixote Pirates and the partner of Poppy, he hides on Dressrosa after the crew falls, determined to vanish from Poppy's life rather than burden her with his criminal past.
Nerine has tanned skin and wavy black hair. He dresses as the soldiers of the Donquixote Family do: a black top, brown boots, brown gloves, and cream trousers marked with dark detailing. A yellow neckerchief finishes the uniform.
Money drew Nerine into the Donquixote Family, supposedly so he could provide for the woman he loved. Thoughtfulness is not among his traits, since he tends to settle major, life-altering matters on his own without ever consulting Poppy, whose life those choices would shape just as much as his.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Long before the events of the game, Nerine crossed paths with Poppy and the two fell in love. He went on to enlist as a soldier of the Donquixote Family, carrying out crimes in their name. Once the Donquixote Pirates were broken up, he took refuge on the New Royal Plateau of Dressrosa. He is skilled with a bazooka, which serves as his weapon.
During One Piece Odyssey, Nerine quietly worked his way up the New Royal Plateau until he reached a point just below Flower Hill. The Straw Hat Pirates eventually located him and urged him to go back to Poppy. He turned them down, and even when they resorted to force he held firm. He finally confessed his plan to stage his own death, fearing how others would treat Poppy if his ties to the Donquixote Pirates came out, and asked the crew to report that he had died. He intended to revisit the place where the two had first met before disappearing for good. At a fountain near the Corrida Colosseum, however, he encountered Poppy herself, who talked him out of faking his death.
