Nubon

Nubon is an average-sized dwarf with a short, rounded nose, full lips, and dark marks beneath his eyes. Under a big round hat sits a head of bushy pale hair, and a dark mustache covers his upper lip. For clothing he favors overalls worn over a long-sleeved shirt finished off with a tie.

He is easily fooled, having swallowed the claim that Usopp descended from Mont Blanc Noland. Even so, bravery runs through him, and he threw himself into danger so his fellow dwarves could carry on with Operation SOP.

After Usopp and Robin were seized and carried to the Tontatta Kingdom, Nubon was among the dwarves frisking Robin as she lay pinned; they let her up once she vowed not to hurt them. The dwarves then pressed Usopp to help them stand against the Donquixote Pirates. A whole army of them set off with the two captives in tow, slipping along a hidden tunnel to reach the Riku Royal Army headquarters under the flower field, where they met Thunder Soldier. He outlined the plan to topple Doflamingo, which became known as Dressrosa Operation SOP, aimed at infiltrating the underground and beating the toy-making officer Sugar.

When the operation launched, Nubon's group accompanied Thunder Soldier toward the palace to assassinate Doflamingo, but Lao G blocked their path and overpowered them. As Pica's clash with Luffy rocked the palace, Nubon and several dwarves seized the chance to pin Lao G down, letting their allies advance; strong enough to help bring the warrior to the ground alongside Baxcon and Daikon, he still could not do him much real harm. He later joined the assault on the SMILE factory beside Franky, helped free the enslaved dwarves, and shared in the celebration once Luffy brought down Doflamingo and the Birdcage. In a later voyage the Tontatta Pirates rescued Pound from a drifting ship near Green Bit and delivered him to the Dressrosa port.
