Appearance

Bulk defines One-Man, a broad, heavily built figure whose chest sits mostly bare and bears the ink of a dragon. His brown hair rises into a tall ponytail, and a mustache and beard frame his face. For garments he keeps a brown-and-white jacket cropped low across his torso, paired with brown trousers, shoes, oversized sleeves, and gloves reaching up his forearms. Metal guards cap each shoulder, completing a deliberately intimidating silhouette.

Personality

Loyalty runs only one direction with One-Man. He shows scant regard for the people who serve under him and withholds aid the moment he decides a follower no longer benefits him. Vindictiveness shadows his temper as well: when a subordinate's actions backfire on him, he repays the slight harshly. He cast aside John for revealing his hand in a raid, and he extended that spite to anyone who came to John's defense.

History

One-Man and his Amber Pirates staged assaults on Kohaku Harbor and Sogyoku Town, hunting the treasure believed to rest on Jail Island. His underling John took wounds during the raid, and rather than help, One-Man left the man behind out of spite. When Monkey D. Luffy arrived with Tony Tony Chopper and Jeanne to tend to John, One-Man flew into a rage and squared up for a fight. He and his crew threw themselves at Luffy and went down without much of a struggle.

In combat he relies on raw muscle, swinging a pair of large axes with enough control to make them dangerous. Each weapon carries twin blades, and a shield fixed to his left arm rounds out his loadout.
