She debuted as a background cameo during the Amazon Lily Arc and continued to surface in various panels across that stretch of chapters. In the anime, she can be glimpsed among the Kuja crowd in Episode 409, standing behind two other warriors as Kikyo tells the village that Luffy has broken out of his cage. The mi ending on her name carries the meaning of beauty in Japanese and works as a suffix for female names. She has also turned up as a non-playable extra in a couple of Gigant Battle video games.
