Personality

A short temper rules him, and he lashes out at his own crew whenever they fall short of his demands. Ruthlessness defines his methods: he is content to seize a person's heart as leverage, having done so to both Caesar Clown and Igaram Jr., and he thinks nothing of hurling a poison gas bomb toward the assembled monarchs of Levely, a strike that could have thrown every royal nation into chaos. In quieter moments he enjoys munching on baked rice crackers.

History

Hungry for the largest bounty ever recorded, the two brothers schemed to wipe out the kings gathered at Levely. They pressed Caesar Clown into building poison gas bombs, and Prize tore out the scientist's heart to guarantee his cooperation, though Igaram Jr. abducted Caesar before the weapons were finished. When his underlings failed to recover the captive, Prize flew into a rage and went after Caesar himself, clashing with the Straw Hat Pirates. His Devil Fruit, the Deri Deri no Mi, lets him send any object, even something microscopic like a virus, straight to a point within his sight, and he used it to fling spears, spread illness, and snatch Igaram Jr.'s heart for Caesar.

The Bounties Pirates raced toward Mary Geoise, but the Straw Hats, Igaram Jr., and Duval pursued and knocked out the cannons meant to launch the bombs. With his brother repeatedly beaten down, Prize revealed he could fire the gas bombs unaided and sent one streaking toward the kings' evacuation ship. Crocodile, hoping to claim the weapons for himself, urged the heroes to knock Prize unconscious and halt the delivery. Once Luffy shifted Bounty aside with Gear 4: Boundman and landed a finishing blow, the bomb's flight stopped and it dropped harmlessly into the sea, sparing the monarchs.
