Roji

Curly red hair topped a heavyset frame whose limbs looked oddly thin by comparison. Roji's face featured tiny, downcast beady eyes set above a broad mouth with thick lips. Her everyday outfit was plain: a short-sleeved orange top worn with black trousers.

Harsh and cold, Roji showed nothing but contempt for her young niece. She berated the girl for daring to cry and worked her like household help rather than family. Her affection extended only to herself, her husband, and the couple's single daughter, leaving no warmth for Robin.

After Nico Olvia departed Ohara to study the Poneglyphs, her two-year-old daughter Robin was placed with Roji and her husband Oran, Olvia's younger brother. Roji never warmed to the child, threatening violence whenever she wept, forcing her to handle every chore, feeding her stale bread, and barring her from family gatherings. When Robin once tried on the daughter Mizuira's clothing, Roji scolded her for it. Oran, by contrast, consistently shielded his niece, the lone member of the home who treated her with any kindness while enduring his wife's temper.

Roji's life ended during the Buster Call launched against Ohara, when Vice Admiral Sakazuki destroyed the refugee vessel she was aboard.
