Rolling Logan commands troops for the Majiatsuka Kingdom. Wanting to win the Mera Mera no Mi, he enrolled to fight in the Corrida Colosseum tournament, where his brute strength landed him in D Block during the Dressrosa conflict.
This commander is a towering, heavily built figure with tanned skin, thick broad lips, and dark curls falling to his shoulders. He drapes himself in a long yellow cape lined with purple and clasped by a brooch, paired with plain black briefs, leather boots, and gloves of red. Notably, his chest and arms come across as wildly outsized when set against his comparatively slight legs.
Brutality defines him, and the act of crushing his rivals brings him pleasure. The anime pushes this further into open sadism paired with a craving for praise, depicting him boasting that he would pulverize Rebecca solely to win cheers from spectators who loathed her. Even so, a measure of honor survives in him, since he chose to gamble his own life to shield Luffy when Donquixote Doflamingo closed in, granting the captain a chance to regain his footing and bring down the Warlord.
Seeking the Mera Mera no Mi, Logan signed into the Corrida Colosseum and was sorted into D Block for the battle royale. The instant the brawl opened, he crushed a pair of gladiators in a savage bear hug, then fixed on Rebecca, hounding her across the ring while flattening every other fighter chasing her too. The anime stretched out this chase: he seized Rebecca, only for Acilia to step in, and ultimately Rebecca duped him into losing his footing and toppling from the arena. The manga handled it differently, with Hakuba, Cavendish's other self, emerging once twenty fighters were left to scythe down the rest of D Block, Logan included.
Sugar's Hobi Hobi power later reduced him to a toy made to toil in the underground port. Her curse breaking reverted the toys, and Logan stood with the freed captives offering thanks to Usopp. Once Doflamingo unleashed his Birdcage and came close to falling against Luffy, Logan and his fellow colosseum fighters threw themselves in to guard the spent captain. None could best the Warlord, yet they bought Luffy the time he needed to recover, defeat Doflamingo, and collapse the Birdcage. His anime arsenal includes Rolling Cradle, a move where he grips a foe and whirls like a wheel, and the crippling finisher Matasaki, which splits an opponent's leg.

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
