Suzume is a compact rooster with snow-white plumage. A vivid red comb and wattle crown its head, its beak is yellow, and its eyes are tiny and beady.
Personality
The bird has made itself at home in the Wolf Room of the Tower of Justice, where it strolls about each day. Its most curious trait is its voice: rather than crowing like an ordinary rooster, it lets out a chirping sound.
History
During the Straw Hats' assault on Enies Lobby, Usopp crept up to lift Jabra's CP9 key. Suzume fixed him with a stare and chirped, and the unexpected little sound startled Usopp so badly that he cried out, rousing the sleeping Jabra. After the Buster Call descended on Enies Lobby, the rooster's fate was left unknown. In the anime version, the chirp was not the only thing to trip up Usopp, since he had already been stung by a bee and nearly suffered a heart attack beforehand.
