Tei the Light Snow

Confined to a wheelchair and well into old age, Tei has tan skin, round eyes, a brown beard, a broad pointed nose, and a wide mouth. A horned black hat sits on his head, and he layers a blue and black jacket over a white undershirt with black trousers below. Silver rings, earrings, and red-tinted sunglasses round out his look.

Mild-mannered and courteous, Tei addresses Luffy and his companions in an unhurried, even tone at their first meeting. A bit forgetful too, he begins chatting with the pirates before it occurs to him to say who he is.

What Tei can do in a fight is never spelled out, though he seems to know something about medicine. Once Hei steered the Straw Hat Pirates to the gang's base, Tei walked in, gave his name, and talked with them about Vivi, their hurt friend recovering among the bandits. After Gad battered the crew's ship, they came back seeking aid, and Tei agreed; returning from the mountain lair, they passed him a red orb that a giant bird robot had been guarding before they sailed off to another island. With the Shushibaruba beaten, Tei and his fellow bandits saw the Straw Hats off.
