Thormann

A neck noticeably longer than usual lets Thormann rise above the rest of his already enormous crew. His outfit borrows from ancient Greek soldiers, pairing a tunic and skirt of armored strips with a matching helmet, and a broad cloak hangs from his shoulders. A thin mustache sits on his lip, though the anime left it off when he first showed up.

The demon transformation kept his silhouette mostly intact while sharpening the dangerous details. His fangs curled into oni-like points, the horns on his helmet took a wicked new shape, and the cloak across his back appeared to spread into enormous wings.

The worry Thormann shows for the giants beside him points to a man who treasures the bond his crew shares. He pairs that warmth with caution: he understood that the corrupted Dorry and Brogy were past reasoning with, and he refused to pretend otherwise. Yet he can be heedless too, losing track of where he plants his own feet at the worst moment.

Whatever decency he carried vanished the instant Imu reshaped him. As a demon he surrendered to the rush of his fresh strength, intoxicated by it.

Belonging to the giant race, Thormann already commands tremendous power and toughness. When Imu accidentally turned him into a demon, that base was multiplied: he received overwhelming might along with a deathless body that knits itself back together after terrible wounds. The change also swelled his frame so dramatically that he loomed over the other giants. He carried a sword before the conversion, though no one saw him swing it, and afterward he fought with a massive blade gifted by the transformation.
