Trip is a five-year-old boy from the One Piece Party spinoff and the son of Drip, a member of the Fake Straw Hat Crew. Raised on his father's tall tales, he worships the real Straw Hats and dreams of becoming a chef.
The boy is essentially a shrunken copy of his father Drip, who himself dresses to mimic Sanji. Trip trades a few of those details for childish versions: a bowtie replaces the necktie, and a buttoned vest stands in for the black jacket. Rather than holding a cigarette, he keeps a lollipop tucked in his mouth.
For the most part Trip behaves like any spoiled small child, no more demanding than a typical five-year-old. He shapes his own ambitions around the heroic life his father pretends to have led, and he intends to chase the same trade by training as a professional cook. His devotion to Drip is fierce: he flatly rejects any criticism of his dad and will even swing at pirates who dare to threaten him. He also idolizes the Straw Hats, though his picture of them rarely lines up with who they really are.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Growing up, Trip soaked in Drip's invented stories about serving as the Straw Hats' head cook, swallowing every claim whole, from supposed romances with Robin and Nami to victories over several Warlords. Desperate to meet the famous crew, he talked his father into hunting them down in the New World. When he reached the Thousand Sunny ahead of Drip, the bewildered crew did not know what to make of him, but Drip arrived, confessed his lies, and begged them to keep up the act so the boy would not be crushed. Trip happily spent the day among the pirates. On the way home, Lip Doughty and Albion ambushed the pair to punish Drip for joining the Fake Straw Hat Crew, nearly forcing a confession, until Sanji stepped in and beat them. Sanji handed back Trip's cookbook, kept his father's secret intact, and invited them to return. The following day Trip and Drip came back to the Sunny along with the rest of the fake crew and their own children.
