A stocky young man, Wheel has small eyes and ears set beneath a tall forehead, with prominent cheekbones and his hair swept upward into a pompadour. The family resemblance runs strong, since he looks very much like his father Jeep.

For formal occasions he dresses in an ornate coat, a single rose pinned over its left breast. A sash also runs diagonally across his chest, draping down from his right shoulder.

Drawn to her beauty, Wheel thinks highly of the mermaid princess and leaned on his father to arrange an introduction. When Shirahoshi's social inexperience led her to bluntly say he was not her type, he took deep offense at the unintended slight.

A streak of cowardice defines him as well. Rather than help when Charlos and his slave moved to seize Shirahoshi, he bolted in a panic, dismissing any duty to protect a woman who had turned him down.

Within the Socializing Plaza, Jeep worked to pair his son with Shirahoshi. Wheel had only begun complimenting her looks when Furrari cut in, eager to present his own son to the princess. She turned down every suitor, prompting Jeep to grumble that she had embarrassed them, while Fukaboshi scrambled to soothe the offended royals before a larger incident could erupt.

Not long after, when Charlos moved to capture Shirahoshi, Wheel lost his nerve and ran.

The Levely's fourth day brought a repeat threat, as Charlos again attempted to enslave the princess, this time using Bartholomew Kuma. Wheel offered no aid; he and the other onlookers simply scattered.
