I Miss Him - Vivi and Rebecca's Sentiments

The royal party crests the Red Line and steps into Mary Geoise, the Neptune Family fitted with new bubbles for the thin air. Rather than ride the moving walkways, Fukaboshi guides Shirahoshi through the forest, sensing something amiss, unaware the travelators are driven below by dying slaves. From the nobles' quarter, Charlos spies the mermaid princess with delight. Inside Pangaea Castle, the royals mingle and offer their sons to Shirahoshi, who flusteredly turns them all down. Vivi meets Leo, learns he serves Luffy, and she and Rebecca bond over their shared ties to the captain, drawing the eavesdropping Shirahoshi into their circle of his friends.

The episode exposes the cruelty hidden beneath Mary Geoise's elegance as enslaved laborers power the travelators. Shirahoshi's overwhelming popularity nearly causes a diplomatic stir until Fukaboshi and Ryuboshi smooth it over. A lengthy flashback covers Vivi's voyage with the Straw Hats to topple Crocodile and Baroque Works: the x marks on their arms, her clash with Luffy over bearing Arabasta's burden alone, and the crew's victories as Usopp, Chopper, Sanji, Nami, and Zoro each downed their opponents while Luffy defeated Crocodile and rain returned. Vivi chose to remain in her homeland, bidding the crew a covert farewell. In the present, she, Rebecca, and Shirahoshi rejoice in their common bond with Luffy.

This episode recaps the Arabasta Arc. Anime additions include Moqueca inviting Manboshi to dance and Rebecca pronouncing Luffy's name correctly when asking Vivi about his visit. The adaptation also shows more princes among Shirahoshi's would-be suitors than the manga did, and depicts the mermaid princess as notably larger when she greets Vivi and Rebecca. It is part of the Levely Arc.
