Whitejack

Whitejack stands out for his dark gray complexion paired with bright pink hair sprouting at the sides of a head bound up top in bandages. A circular head mirror sits over his left eye. His outfit mixes the medical with the theatrical: a cross-marked white shirt under a physician's coat, topped by a pink cape with a high collar and a bow, finished off with pink trousers and brown footwear.

He treats the race as no joke and competes in deadly earnest. That seriousness comes with a willingness to bend the rules, since he readily turns weapons on the drivers around him to gain an edge.

Being a doctor implies some grasp of medicine, but the quack label suggests his knowledge runs shallow at best. Where he genuinely shines is behind the wheel. He kept his vehicle on the course for a good stretch and used weaponry against rivals to real effect. In the film, he and his assistant Kiruko entered the Turtle Car Race together. After Straight's car veered off the track, Whitejack surged into first, then had Kiruko hose the road with a liquid meant to send the Straw Hats' car sliding to a halt. The plan unraveled when Kent Beef Jr. closed in and simply shoved him off the track with his far bulkier car.
