The New Beginning! The Straw Hats Reunite!

This episode launches the re-edited retelling of the Fish-Man Island Saga, condensing earlier broadcast material into a streamlined arc. It picks up with the crew returning to Sabaody Archipelago after two years apart, each member having grown stronger during the timeskip.

Although every Straw Hat has reached the island, they have yet to gather as a full group. Their planned reunion runs into trouble when a fake crew claiming to be them surfaces in the area, drawing the attention of the Marines and putting the authorities on alert.

The members drift back toward their meeting point one by one, with the imposters' antics threatening to derail the genuine reunion. The presence of a counterfeit Straw Hat group raises tensions across Sabaody and stirs the Marines into heightened vigilance.

Familiar faces from the timeskip locations appear as the episode reassembles the lead-up to the crew's departure for the underwater kingdom.

The installment premiered on November 3, 2024, and is stitched together primarily from Episodes 517 through 519, with the last drawn upon only in part. It opens with a Straw Hat version of We Go! and ends on Sailing.

One continuity quirk noted in the re-edit involves a cut exchange between the fake Nami, Chocolat, and the real Nami, which leaves Chocolat abruptly repositioned beside Nami after Usopp fires off an attack, despite never having left the couch.
