Losing ground to the Seraphim, Luffy grudgingly frees Lucci and Kaku so they can join the fight. Over at Elbaph, Shanks hears that Kid has arrived and takes up his challenge, putting the Road Poneglyph copies up as the stake while bringing the Giant Warrior Pirates along.

Zoro identifies S-Hawk's power as the Supa Supa no Mi once held by Mr. 1 of Baroque Works. He and Luffy struggle against S-Hawk and S-Bear while having to drag Lucci and Kaku clear of the attacks. As S-Bear winds up an Ursa Shock, Shaka and Luffy release the agents' cuffs on the promise they spare the Vegapunk satellites. Luffy and Lucci combine Gear 4 and leopard strikes on S-Bear, and Zoro and Kaku pair Three Sword Style with Rankyaku against S-Hawk.

At Elbaph, Shanks and his crew relax at a bar, amused by a child pleading to join them, until word arrives that the Kid Pirates have invaded. Since Shanks once severed Kid's arm, revenge is the likely motive. The Red Hair Pirates set sail with Dorry and Brogy to meet them. Shanks offers Kid safe passage if he surrenders his Road Poneglyph rubbings, and Kid accepts the fight.

The anime adds Kaku again demanding release and being refused by Zoro, prompting Luffy to tease them about friendship, plus extra crowd reactions and flashbacks of Kid losing his arm. The episode is part of the Egghead Arc and debuts Colon, Oli, and Mato.
