A Quest in the Land of Mystery! The Secret of the Sun God

Crossing the block town, the crew encounters a man astride a grasshopper who tells them they stand in the Land of Gods, a realm presided over by the Sun God from whom lesser deities spring, among them the cat Iscat, the Ear God, and the Needle God. The Straw Hats quietly recognize these as the creatures they had attacked and eaten, but keep it to themselves. Warned not to venture past Bigstein Castle, Luffy ignores the caution and dashes onward, only to glimpse his own reflection and slam into an unseen barrier that proves to be a mirror.

The mirror's collapse exposes a latticed cage, and the crew grasps that they have been penned inside a colossal terrarium as pets. They discover that the floors and structures are built from synthetic resin toy blocks, and they locate Chopper just beyond the cage, breaking him out of his chains. The giant's viper, crow, and rats close in, but Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji fight the animals while flames leap from a fireplace and engulf the whole chamber. The moment the beasts fall, the Sun God, a towering masked giant, storms in, distraught that his temple burns. Bent on revenge, he gives chase as the crew races through the town on Iscat's back, trying to burst out the far side.

The episode introduces Hilmungardr and Muginn and debuts Luffy's Gear 5 technique Dawn Pistol. It carries a rating of 2.8 and ranked fifth for the week.
