Summary

Refusing to accept that Luffy has fallen, Vivi rounds on Crocodile, who taunts that the boy would still be breathing had he never tied himself to her cause. Across the city the rebels and Royal Army keep clashing, and Nami, forced to run and hide, recalls asking Usopp to build her a weapon so she would stop being a burden to the crew. When Miss Doublefinger corners her and drives a spike into her shoulder, Nami brings out the Clima-Tact and tries to make sense of it mid-fight. Her opening moves prove useless, conjuring doves and flowers rather than damage, but she keeps reading the instructions and uncovers the staff's three batons and their hot, cool, and electric properties. A botched swing accidentally triggers a returning gust, and a skewering blow lands only on a mirage she has projected, leaving her finally confident enough to fight in earnest. Inside the palace, Crocodile nails Cobra to the wall and demands to know the location of Pluton, leaving the king shaken that the name is even known to him.
