Dreams Don't Come True?! Bellamy Versus the Saruyama Alliance

The crew is still chasing the South Bird, which keeps turning the forest's creatures against them. At Cricket's place, Bellamy's gang arrives for the gold, and Sarquiss and the others fall quickly to the Saruyama Alliance until Bellamy joins in himself. Using his Bane Bane no Mi, he overpowers Cricket, Shoujou, and Masira, hauls off the gold, and lets his crew brutalize the alliance further. As he departs, Bellamy preaches that dreams never come true in the new era, and Cricket retorts that a coward who will not face the unknown has no business lecturing him about pirates.

Chopper interprets the taunting South Bird before Robin snares it with her Hana Hana no Mi. Back at the house the Straw Hats find their allies battered and the Going Merry damaged, and Nami reveals the gold is gone. Cricket waves it off, though Usopp protests that the man spent a decade ruining his body diving for it. When Zoro spots Bellamy's mark carved into the Merry's hull, Luffy decides to go after him alone, brushing off Zoro's offer of help and Nami's warning that only three hours remain before they must sail, promising to return by dawn. Meanwhile a drunk patron picks up a dropped stack of wanted posters and is stunned to find Luffy and Zoro's bounties tower over Bellamy's, as Luffy storms into Mock Town shouting for Bellamy.

Part of the Jaya Arc, this episode debuts the Bane Bane no Mi and the drunkard Jobo, plus the Saru Lunge, Spring Snipe, and Big Chop techniques.
