Summary

Needing to relieve himself but too afraid to go alone, Usopp begs Zoro to come along and is refused. Venturing out by himself, he catches sight of a shadowy figure repairing the ship and faints from shock, only to be discovered by Zoro the next day. Elsewhere, the priests answer Enel's summons but fall to bickering over which of the three stands strongest, wondering aloud where their god is. A bolt of lightning then announces Enel's arrival.

Enel lays out why the Straw Hats climbed to Sky Island and warns that the Shandia will strike too, so he removes every territorial limit on the priests across Upper Yard. He adds that the Ark Maxim stands ready. Gan Fall puzzles over Enel's scheme, while Wyper hardens his determination to bring the god down.

Key Events

By morning the Straw Hats find their vessel fully mended and marvel at who could have done it so perfectly to the original design, given where they are. Usopp and Chopper then work to drag the ship off the sacrificial altar, with Usopp using Chopper as bait to draw the sky sharks and harness their pull. Nami splits the crew into an exploration party to seek the gold and a home party to sail, after which they will flee Upper Yard. As they set out, so do their foes.
