I Won't Die! Fierce Battle, Luffy Vs. Krieg!

Stripped of any defense against the MH5 poison cloud, Luffy faces certain death until Gin intervenes. The Krieg subordinate presses his own mask onto Luffy, breathing in the toxin to keep the boy alive. The gas takes hold almost instantly, leaving Gin wracked with internal bleeding as the Baratie cooks scramble to tend to him.

With Gin saved, Luffy throws himself at Krieg. He breaks past the armored pirate's guard and drives a fist clean through the spiked Kenzan Mantle, landing a blow squarely on Krieg's face.

Cornered, Krieg deploys his trump card. He reshapes his shoulder armor into the Daisenso, a spear that detonates on every strike. Luffy answers by hammering the spearhead five consecutive times, swallowing the blast with each hit, until the weapon's tip finally shatters. Watching from the sidelines, Zeff quietly respects the boy's fearless resolve.

Gin sacrifices his mask to rescue Luffy and is stricken by the MH5 poison. Luffy punches through the Kenzan Mantle to strike Krieg. Krieg unveils the Daisenso spear, and Luffy destroys its explosive head by striking it five times in a row despite repeated blasts. Zeff observes Luffy's determination with admiration.

The installment falls within the Baratie Arc and continues the ongoing clash between Luffy and Don Krieg. A later remastered broadcast carried separate, lower viewer figures from the original airing.
