Luffy at Full Power! Nami's Courage and the Straw Hat!

Arlong offers Nami a bargain: surrender herself and he will spare Cocoyasi Village, killing only the pirates. She turns him down flat and enters the battle, accepting the risk to her people. At the same time, Nojiko manages to bring Luffy back to consciousness, though his lower body stays pinned beneath the surface in hardened cement. Sanji dives in to chip him loose, and once freed Luffy erupts from the pool to rain blows on Arlong, taunting the fish-man's appearance and stoking his fury.

While Sanji works underwater, Zoro takes on Arlong directly, trying to shatter the saw-toothed nose the fish-man calls unbreakable. Usopp arrives to declare his win over Chew. Arlong skewers Zoro with his nose, then strips away the bandages and spots the wounds Mihawk left behind. Below the surface, a recovered Hatchan chases Sanji but tears open his own Zoro-inflicted injuries and faints from blood loss. Sanji smashes the cement from Luffy's feet, and the captain rockets upward to unleash a barrage on Arlong.

This installment belongs to the Arlong Park Arc and debuts attacks for both Hatchan and Arlong. For the English dub, 4Kids Entertainment fused parts of Japanese episodes 40, 41, and 42 into a single episode 38.
