Key Events

After the Kraken falls, a t-shirt-wearing shark surfaces from within it, offers thanks, and swims off, just as a deep current swallows Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji. The remaining crew searches in vain along the route to Fish-Man Island. Caribou, having hidden in a barrel, plots murder, but Franky overhears him and seals him away. Reaching a field of undersea volcanoes teeming with huge creatures, the crew grows tense, and Franky resorts to Coup de Burst four times, each weaker than the last because the bubble shrinks with every use. After narrowly escaping the jaws of a giant anglerfish, the group watches Wadatsumi knock the creature out, and the episode ends with the Flying Dutchman emerging from the gloom.

Notes

In the manga Franky seals Caribou the moment he is spotted, whereas here Caribou notices him and clumsily tries to hide again. Wadatsumi's dorsal fin appears earlier than in the source. Sanji performs his new Diable Jambe variant with his right leg rather than the left. Franky finally clarifies the underwater limitation of Coup de Burst, and uses it repeatedly to flee the monsters. Megalo specifically thanks the trio for the rescue. Zoro and Sanji's training flashbacks are featured, and Robin pushes the ship with her feet instead of her hands.
