The Straw Hats Step In! An Uproarious Deadly Battle at the Execution Ground!

Having pulled Toko clear, Zoro and Sanji cut down the samurai with ease, and the swordsman hurls a flying slash at Orochi, only for Kyoshiro to bat it aside. Kyoshiro stays to duel Zoro as Orochi rides off toward the castle, while X Drake shifts into his allosaurus form to come at Sanji. When the firing squad unleashes a volley, Franky plants his cyborg frame in the way, takes the rounds, and spirits Yasuie's body to safety with Usopp, Robin, and Nami covering him. The crew resolves to settle the brawl right there on the grounds.

Far away in Udon, Luffy roots for his comrades from the sumo ring until Queen receives word that fresh criminals have shown up. Kamazo, who botched the hit on Toko, and Kid, who gave himself up after escaping, are brought into the prison. Kid instantly recognizes Kamazo as his own crewmate Killer, who was somehow made to swallow a SMILE fruit and can now only express joy. Enraged on Kid's behalf, Luffy bellows at Queen and the sumo match resumes.

Zoro engages Kyoshiro while Sanji battles Drake's dinosaur form, and Franky recovers Yasuie's corpse under fire. Zoro debuts Nanahyakuniju Pound Ho. Kid and Kamazo arrive at Udon, and Kamazo is unmasked as Killer, now affected by a SMILE fruit. Luffy, furious for Kid, demands Queen continue their bout.

The episode marks the first time Sanji clearly displays Armament Haki's black hardening, using it to swat away bullets, whereas the manga had him merely harden his leg against Drake. He also finishes a counter with Diable Jambe here rather than running. The execution-site fight and the dialogue after Toko's rescue are extended, and Killer is shown in his pre-timeskip look when revealed, unlike the post-timeskip design used in print.
