Start Fighting Back! Luffy and the Akazaya Samurai!

Creeping through the executive tower, Raizo tracks down both the blade that belongs to Kawamatsu and the keys for his shackles. He has them when Solitaire blocks his path, her monkey SMILE letting her command six swords at once. Raizo replies with Jujutsu, spawning shadow doubles of himself; while Solitaire tears through the copies, the real ninja gets clear. Springing from a tower window, he drops the key and sword to Kawamatsu, who unlocks himself and falls into his one-of-a-kind Kappa Style. The watching inmates recognize the Nine Red Scabbards and reel that two decades failed to kill them.

Babanuki orders a charge, but the samurai brush the guards aside before the Beasts Pirates fall back on Excite Bullets and infect a throng of captives. In a leafy wood, Zoro and Hiyori are trailed by a flute-playing stranger who abruptly fires a blowdart; Zoro senses it, knocks it down with his blade, and routs the man, taking him for one of Fukurokuju's killers. Aboard Queen's ship to Onigashima, the sedatives cannot fully hold Big Mom, and she rouses long enough to ask for red bean soup before drifting off again. At Udon, Kid snatches the keys Raizo flings, yet with only one hand he asks Killer for help, only for Killer to sprawl out laughing on the floor.

Raizo recovers Kawamatsu's sword and keys, slips Solitaire with shadow clones, and frees Kawamatsu, who fights in Kappa Style. The Scabbards reunite and stand beside Luffy and Hyogoro against the Beasts Pirates, who keep spreading the plague through Excite Bullets. Zoro turns aside an assassin's blowdart in the forest. Kid's escape falters on the SMILE-stricken Killer. Several techniques debut, including Raizo's Kaminari Shuriken, Kawamatsu's Yagura Ryuo and Kappa Style moves, and the Luffy-Chopper combination Gomu Gomu no Heavy Stamp.

Newly added scenes cover Raizo finding the sword, his clash with Solitaire, the woodland ambush on Zoro and Hiyori, Big Mom briefly stirring in transit, and Kid pleading with Killer. Solitaire's combat ability is shown here even though the manga left it unseen. The inmates also hold out longer in the adaptation, refusing to release Luffy until Hyogoro reveals himself, whereas on the page Kiku's threat was enough. The episode runs within the Wano Country arc.
