The brand surfaces only in the anime, appearing during the stretch of episodes that follow the crew's departure from Arabasta.

The company operates through door-to-door style pitching, with its agents demonstrating goods and pressing buyers toward a sale. Among its more notable stock are the Buru Buru Blade, a multi-function gadget unsafe for children, the Ab-Ab Slider mechanical mouse, the Golden Fish exercise device, Silky Smooth Skin Soap, and Millennium Paper, a sheet milled from Thousand-Year Trees on Eight Nine Island that is said to resist fading and repel insects for a thousand years. Rice Rice is the firm's salesman, a tall figure in a tangerine suit who wears a sash reading gekiyasu, meaning cheap. Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper pull him and his Escar vehicle from the ocean after a storm leaves him adrift. Rather than show much gratitude, he launches straight into a sales pitch, working through demonstrations for the crew before attempting to inflate the price of his Millennium Paper on Nami. When Sanji's trick reveals Luffy's identity as a wanted pirate, Rice Rice panics, invents an excuse about an appointment, and flees in his vehicle, leaving behind the very products he had been hawking.
