Overview

Captained by the enormous Little Oars Jr., this band sails under the banner of the Whitebeard Pirates as one of their allied crews. Their emblem is a huge red skull modeled on the captain himself, complete with jutting horns, a sharp widow's peak, angular cheekbones, and a flat chin, set over crossed bones with the label "Oars III" written below. Having built a name for themselves in the New World, the crew is presumed to carry real strength, fitting their status beneath one of the great Emperors.

Role

The group rides aboard the Little Gerais, a broad and colossal vessel whose figurehead echoes their skull flag. Beyond the captain, the membership is filled out by ordinary-sized people who deliberately copy his appearance, wearing false yellow jaws lined with oversized fangs and sporting long orange hair. When and how the crew came to serve Whitebeard is unclear, including whether the alliance predates the friendship between Oars Jr. and Ace.

Notable Members

Little Oars Jr. stands as the sole prominent figure and the crew's driving force. He brought his followers into the Summit War of Marineford to break Portgas D. Ace out of his scheduled execution, personally spearheading the assault. The charge cost him dearly, and he took severe wounds during the fighting. What became of the crew afterward remains a mystery, since their captain was last glimpsed lying unconscious as the battle drew to its close.
