Nisenise Pirates

Based in the East Blue, this crew built its entire identity on fraud, passing itself off as the famed Straw Hat Pirates. Within Set Sail Pirate Crew! they take the villain's role. Three ringleaders run the group, backed by a dozen underlings who only ever show up sorted into threes. Leading the pack are Niseluffy, Nisezoro, and Niseusopp, shoddy imitations of Luffy, Zoro, and Usopp respectively. Oddly, this pack of fakes precedes the manga's own canonical impostor Straw Hats by around ten years.

Combat is far from this crew's strong suit. Its underlings are notably feeble, falling with little effort before a young band of three children, the Set Sail Pirates. That same frailty carries over to Niseluffy and Niseusopp, both of whom are dispatched quickly. The one standout is Nisezoro, who parries several of the genuine Zoro's strikes before going down once the swordsman recovers his full strength.

The three lead impersonators launched their scheme by raiding the 153rd Marine Branch, throwing it into a panic and then bolting toward Orange Town. Arriving there, they wrecked the streets, harmed the townsfolk, and holed up in a bar, pressing a nearby woman into cooking and cleaning on their behalf. Once Luffy and the young Set Sail crew hunted them down, the twelve henchmen were brushed aside easily. Luffy put away Niseluffy but was then trapped inside a seastone cage rigged by the surviving pair, until the genuine Roronoa Zoro showed up and cut down both Nisezoro and Niseusopp. Marine Captain Nezumi took the gang into custody, yet Niseluffy slipped free by swapping places with the true Luffy.
