Overview

Simon commanded this pirate band, cast as the chief antagonists of a non-canon One Piece role-playing game set across the Nanatsu Islands, subtitled Great Hidden Treasure. Because they exist solely within that game and never in the canonical manga, their story stays confined to it. By most accounts the crew's ranks swelled to somewhere around a thousand, and they lorded over the Nanatsu Islands until the Straw Hats turned up to loosen their hold.

Role

Simon was a formidable adversary on his own, once considered a candidate to join the Seven Warlords of the Sea; he also carried a Logia-class Devil Fruit besides. Beneath him served four officers, each priced at 30,000,000 berries and each bringing a distinct trade to the table. As the crew's number two, Gad could whip up cyclones with his abilities. Din trained a large flock of parrots to talk and obey, giving the crew eyes and ears throughout the islands. Working as a physician, Zabal bent his medical skill toward wiping out rivals and traitors alike. Niphtal supplied the scientific muscle, building weapons for the group, among them the twin automaton fighters Zau Ra Zau and Kau Ra Kau. On top of all that, the crew commanded a fleet of dozens of ships, though only Zabal's is shown plainly, a low, two-masted craft carrying a bow-mounted cannon and topped with a horned animal-skull figurehead.

Notable Members

Simon held the captaincy, backed by his four officers Gad, Din, Zabal, and Niphtal, and according to Otsu the full force ran to roughly a thousand pirates. When a storm hurled the Straw Hat Pirates into a crash landing on the Nanatsu Islands, the intruders eventually ran into Simon's crew. Battling through a series of turn-based RPG clashes, the Straw Hats steadily wore the entire outfit down and then set sail away from the archipelago.
