The Tulip Pirates are a flower-obsessed crew led by Yurikah, introduced in Jango's cover-story saga. Weak fighters who lean on hostage-taking, they raided Mirror Ball Island before Jango and Fullbody put them down.
This crew first turned up in the cover story following Jango. Their entire identity revolves around tulips: every member strikes a tulip pose and wears an actual tulip atop the head, the lone exception being captain Yurikah, whose hairstyle is already shaped like the petals. That theme carries into their flag, a scowling skull set over crossbones with petal-like tulip growths sprouting from its crown.
Despite their numbers, the group is feeble in a straight fight. Lacking the strength to face Lieutenant Fullbody directly, they resorted to grabbing a woman as a hostage so the Marines could not retaliate. When Jango neutralized the pirate restraining the captive, he and Fullbody joined forces and crushed the crew. Their assault on Mirror Ball Island had thrown the whole place into disorder before that intervention.
Yurikah captains the crew and is its only named figure. The rest are an anonymous mass of tulip-wearing followers. The live-action adaptation gives them a darker fate: there they push into the Grand Line and reach Whisky Peak, where Baroque Works lures them into a trap and slaughters them, with Miss Monday noting their recent arrival and Nami later finding a groundskeeper concealing crew members' bodies.
