Chapter 1075

As the teams comb the lab for the doctor, Shaka notices someone methodically knocking out the surveillance snails so the Stella cannot be located. Usopp's group stumbles onto a wrecked Pythagoras, who survived only because he detached his head from his body before the blast. As the satellite warns them, S-Snake appears, petrifies York, and opens fire on the group. Meanwhile S-Bear and S-Hawk corner Luffy's party, and Shaka grasps that an outside party has seized the Seraphim and means to kill everyone. A revived Lucci and Kaku, realizing they are targets too, float an uneasy alliance that disgusts Luffy and Zoro.

The crew has paired off with the satellites: Nami and Brook travel with Edison through a floor of manmade diamonds, Chopper and Robin accompany Atlas, who reveals her face is a replaceable mask, and Sanji and Jinbe escort Stussy across the weapons floor. Usopp, Franky, Lilith, and York reach Tower C and find the headless but intact Pythagoras. York walks toward S-Snake, who ignores Edison's stand-down order and petrifies her, then blasts a laser that collapses the bridge beneath the group. Lilith insists a Seraphim simply cannot be beaten.

Shaka begins to fear the Stella himself may be commanding the Seraphim, since none of the satellites can stop them, and recognizes the whole trap was laid with great care. Lucci and Kaku wake to find themselves marked for death alongside the pirates and propose working together to survive, an offer met with open revulsion. The cover spread shows the Five Elders granting the genius scientist an audience, with all five elders pictured.
