He lays out his bind: bound for six years to the manga's sturdiest known tree, Treasure Tree Adam, his Devil Fruit powers smothered by Seastone cuffs. He offers Luffy a bargain, that freeing him would have the pirate wipe out a rival crew of Loki's pick, warning that the surrounding Underworld beasts, each loyal to him, would otherwise tear the intruder apart.
