The rest of the crew fights its way deeper into the courthouse while Luffy trades blows with Blueno on the roof. After matching the agent's speed and power, the captain unveils a transformation he calls Gear 2.

Spandam demands a report from Baskerville, who admits the invaders have already cut open the stone doors. Zoro scatters soldiers with a tornado-like strike, then leads the group toward the dual staircases, briefly wandering the wrong way to the crew's exasperation. The Franky Family yanks Baskerville off the stairs to buy the others time.

Above, Luffy hauls himself back over the ledge as the door spun into his face finally closes. He dodges Blueno's Shigan, Soru, and Tekkai attacks, then redirects a Rankyaku with a kick, stunning the agent with his physical control. Luffy explains that his loss to Aokiji taught him he must become far stronger to protect his friends from foes of that caliber.
