Kenji Utsumi

Utsumi's signature roles include Raoh and Kaioh in Fist of the North Star, Commander Red and the tournament announcer in the Dragon Ball series, Senbei Norimaki in Dr. Slump, Alex Louis Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist, and boxing trainer Kamogawa in Hajime no Ippo. He is also credited among the voice cast associated with Toei Animation's One Piece.

Kenji Utsumi, born in 1937 and died in 2013, was one of anime's most recognizable deep-voiced character actors across nearly six decades. His commanding delivery anchored decades of anime villains and mentors, and near the end of his life he received a lifetime achievement prize at the Seiyu Awards.
