Appearance

Vine-like markings trace across this monster's face and ears, and his eyes are a blank, colorless white. His most striking trait is the enormous mane of chestnut hair that spills far past a body still shaped much like a person's. He favors a showy white outfit trimmed with dark embroidery and feathers, finished off with black gloves and boots that climb to the thigh.

Personality

An all-consuming devotion to his hair defines him, and it was precisely that fixation that tipped him into monsterhood. He talks in a peculiar way, bending common proverbs so that each one somehow circles back to hair, and he keeps an air of detached vagueness about himself. Where other high-ranking monsters squabble or devour one another during idle stretches, he stays composed and even converses patiently with weaker beings, though his pride shows in how he gathers lesser creatures around himself. He enjoys needling opponents through pointed comparisons.

Abilities

Devil Long Hair draws nearly all of his strength from his hair, which he can extend, whip about, and steer at will. The strands are tough, supple, and swift, quick enough to snatch Okamaitachi's Air Blades out of the air and able to tunnel through solid earth before bursting up at enemies from unexpected angles. They bind foes, strike with real piercing force, and move fast enough to catch even top A-Class heroes by surprise.

When Atomic Samurai's three disciples, Iaian, Bushidrill, and Okamaitachi, came for him, he wounded them and forced all three to fight together, trying to drown them beneath waves of hair. That hair, however, is also his single great weakness. After a long struggle the swordsmen sheared away every strand, stripping his powers and leaving him collapsed and unconscious. Whether any hidden physical strength lies beyond the hair has never been revealed.
