Appearance
As a human, Stain was a young shinobi with pale hair who wore dark armor beneath a hoodie. His monstrous change reshaped him drastically: horns pushed out from his head, his skull stretched long, a third eye opened, and his mouth filled with razor-edged fangs.
Personality
Almost nothing remains of who Stain was before his transformation. Afterward he turned cruel and mocking toward the very man who had raised him, offering sarcastic thanks for the guidance he had received while giving himself over completely to the will of "God."
History
Stain spent years training under Void in the Ninja Village and climbed to the prestigious rank of Jounin. At some point he brushed against a mysterious cube, and that contact remade him into a Mysterious Being sworn to "God." Turning on his teacher, the transformed disciple grew strong enough to press Void hard in combat, striking with gauntlet claws mounted on both arms and matching the pace of the village's own leader. Their duel broke off when Blast stepped in, tearing away Stain's arm with his Dimension Cannon, after which Void removed the disciple's head.
That clash drove Void to join forces with Blast in hunting down the cubes. Later, when Void himself touched one, "God" took on Stain's face alongside Luna's to tempt him toward its power, and Void at last surrendered to it. Because the chapters that featured him were revised, Stain now stands outside the official storyline unless he is one day brought back.
