The three take a humanoid monster form marked by unusual height and prominent, bulging veins. Antennae rise from their heads, and they keep on the everyday human clothes they presumably wore before their change.

Bitterness drives the Internet Surfers, who set out to scrub humanity down to what they saw as its rotten core after enduring endless online abuse. They aim to drown everyone in despair and kill without hesitation, reserving special contempt for bystanders who watch from a distance with no trace of fear.

The three were once ordinary members of society, worn down by a steady stream of hateful messages online until their resentment festered and finally triggered their transformation into Mysterious Beings. Reborn as monsters, they fixed on eradicating humankind for its rottenness. During the Ninjas Arc of the Neo Heroes Saga, they overpower the heroes Heavy Kong, Peach Terry, and Iron Bone with ease, explaining their origins and their goal before dropping all three at once. They then turn on a watching passerby, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, whose antennae-intercepted signals irritate them, though he shrugs them off as too slow. When Saitama, Genos, and Flashy Flash arrive, the monsters insist that no number of heroes will matter, then bristle at being ignored during the newcomers' conversation. Genos and Flash strike, tearing one apart and beating the other two to death. As a combined Demon-level threat the trio proved dangerous, downing two A-Class heroes and a B-Class hero through raw strength and hand-to-hand blows, and their antennae let them pick up radio signals, but they stood no chance against S-Class opposition. In the webcomic, two die to Flashy Flash and the third to Genos.
