Rafflesidon

Rafflesidon looks like an enormous Rafflesia blossom given slightly softer, rounder edges. Two eyes break up the floral shape, each set with jet-black sclera around a pale iris, and a knobby nose with the grain of timber juts from his face. Tangled roots trail off from his body in every direction.

He approaches combat like a strategist, hanging back and letting allies tie up a target while he floods the surroundings with his gases to bend the fight in his favor.

During the Monster Raid Arc, Rafflesidon works in tandem with Senior Centipede against Metal Bat in S-City. After the centipede knocks Metal Bat, Narinki, and Waganma clear of a restaurant, Rafflesidon rises from the sewers and unleashes his Hypno Scent, a sleeping gas that drops the two civilians at once. That vaporized haze is his signature trick: it lulls a target unconscious, and while a tougher opponent can resist it for a while, prolonged exposure eventually wins out. He also fights up close with his vines when the moment calls for it. In the brawl that follows he manages to pull Metal Bat into a trance, but the hero jolts himself free by cracking his own skull and finishes Rafflesidon off with a single swing.
