Suiryu

Tall and strikingly handsome, Suiryu carries a lean but heavily muscled build, with blue eyes, tanned skin, and black hair bound into a ponytail that falls past his lower back. He dresses in a navy Chinese-style training uniform edged with white, its long sleeves closed by star-shaped buttons, and beneath it he keeps metal bands clasped around his upper arms. Once he signs on with the Neo Heroes, he trades this look for one of the organization's battle suits.

Easygoing and rarely without a grin, Suiryu is a shameless womanizer who would sooner chase company than train, yet he is sharp enough to read Bakuzan's bloodlust at a glance and firmly believes the strong are simply meant to outlast the weak. He hungers for tough opponents, insisting that the whole point of fighting is to secure a life of leisure, and the yawning gap between him and most rivals leaves him as bored with easy victories as Saitama is. In the ring he tends to coast, relying on his legs alone, chatting through his matches, and closing them out with a single kick before offering a mocking apology for being too strong.

His scorn for heroes runs deep at first. He dismisses them as vain glory-hounds whose speeches and sense of justice bore him, convinced that no champion, however noble, could ever wipe out evil or resolve every disaster, so a carefree thrill-seeker's life strikes him as far wiser. That certainty cracks when Gouketsu storms the tournament. Suiryu shields the other fighters and rejects a seat among the monsters despite the promise of an easy executive's life, seeing such creatures as abominations, but Gouketsu overwhelms him and his pride buckles into open fear as he begs Bakuzan for aid. Being rescued by Sneck and Max reshapes his view, and after Bakuzan beats him to the edge of death he finally weeps for a hero to save him, yet still refuses to grovel, snapping the monster's toe rather than debasing himself. Once he watches Saitama crush both Bakuzan and Gouketsu, gratitude wins out entirely: he asks to become Saitama's disciple and commits himself to protecting people as a hero.

Suiryu is a natural genius of the martial arts who rose to the very top despite loafing through much of his training, entering his bout with Saitama without a single recorded loss and celebrated for taking four Super Fight titles back to back. He put down two A-Class heroes with one kick apiece, breezed into the finals, and against Saitama displayed power on the level of an S-Class hero, so much so that Bakuzan reckoned killing him would prove himself the strongest. He regards Garou as a worthy rival, and their virtual duel ended in a stalemate, though the Hero Hunter could not fight freely because the system buckled under the strain. After the tournament he cut down several fighters who had turned into Mysterious Beings, one of them likely reaching Demon level, a feat that impressed the Dragon-level Gouketsu enough to offer him an executive post.

His body is his weapon. His strength let him halve the fighting ring with a hand chop and flip up the other half with a stomp, boot Choze's energy orb into the sky, and, even in a weakened state, blow the head off one of the Three Crows and crack Bakuzan's toe, while a simple flex burst the metal bands on his arms. He moves faster than ordinary eyes can track, vanishing from sight as he repositions, and his conditioning makes him remarkably durable, his flexed chest turning aside Choze's horns and his frame absorbing blows from Gouketsu. His stamina and endurance let him keep fighting through brutal injuries without losing consciousness, and his keen perception reads an opponent's nature and strength from a single look, which is how he grasped that Saitama craves only the thrill of battle rather than fame. As a Master Martial Artist he wields Void Fist, a style built on maximizing damage in an unbroken flow, and its named techniques include the tornado-like Void Sky Dragon Fist, the ground-cracking Void Shaking Tiger Fist, and the follow-up Void Ascending Phoenix Fist that broke through Choze's armored body. His Neo Heroes battle suit later augments him further, reading his nervous system to boost his movements and housing a life-support system.
