Tanktop Tiger

The tiger motif runs all the way through him, striping not just his singlet but his hair and eyebrows as well. He is a big, thickly muscled man, standing roughly 220 centimeters and weighing about 126 kilograms.

Loud and grating, Tiger swaggers with far more confidence than his record earns. He sneers at rookie heroes, turns arrogant and hostile at the drop of a hat, and reveals a petty, envious, cowardly streak, forever griping about anyone he deems unworthy of outranking him. He held Saitama in contempt right up until the bald hero rocketed past him on the rankings, and he resented Mumen Rider for butting into the duel between his master and Garou. He also proved a scheming sort, playing along with his brother Black Hole's plot to demoralize and prey on newcomers, though he briefly wondered whether Black Hole had gone too far.

Tiger first surfaces when nervous civilians summon him to deal with a suspicious-looking Saitama, who happens to be in the middle of a would-be rematch with Speed-o'-Sound Sonic. He barks at Saitama, grabs him by the head, and, unimpressed by a name he has never heard, taunts him into a fight for the sake of his own reputation, only for Sonic's exploding shuriken to knock him out cold. After Saitama destroys the giant meteor, Tiger resurfaces to brand him a liar and a cheat, rallying a crowd with the help of Black Hole before challenging Saitama outright; he leaps in first and is punched clear into a heap of rubble, and a demotion to Rank 13 follows. He rides with the army to avenge Tanktop Vegetarian against Garou, joining the failed charge after Tanktop Master falls. When the Monster Association crisis peaks, he trails his master to the ruins of Z-City and piles onto a weakened Garou, a beating that Zombieman and King break up. His absence from a later tanktop meeting hints he has quit as a hero. In a lighter moment he and Black Hole stand guard over a Hero Association restricted zone and, despite the rules, wave Saitama through. Once a top-ten C-Class hero, Tiger is a decently strong fighter for his rank, brawling bare-fisted in what is described as a tiger-like style. He also holds the distinction of being the first Tank Topper Army member to appear in the series.
