The twentieth One-Punch Man episode, and season two's eighth, turns the tournament grounds into a slaughterhouse when Gouketsu crashes the closing ceremony and forces the fighters to become monsters or die. Suiryu's pride is ground down to desperate cries for help, answered at last by a masked figure in a cape.
The closing ceremony crowns Suiryu, who privately wonders how the match would have gone had Saitama not held back. The celebration is cut off by warnings of monsters circling the arena, and moments later black feathers rain down as the Three Crows drop in clutching Rosie, Dave, and Bazuzu. Gouketsu strides into the stadium, crushes a fleeing Benpatsu underfoot, and dismisses the contestants as weaklings who might still serve him as monsters. Sneck and Lightning Max are booted skyward for challenging him. Announcing himself as a member of the Monster Association, Gouketsu recounts how Orochi once beat him before Gyoro Gyoro and Orochi offered him monsterhood in exchange for loyalty, then displays the monster cells and orders the fighters to eat one and join or perish.
Rosie devours a cell and transforms, only for Choze to snap his neck, after which Choze eats one himself and takes down Jakumen. Cowed by Gouketsu, Benpatsu, Hamukichi, and Volten follow suit. Suiryu, still trying to shake off his loss to Saitama, secures a date with an attractive assistant if he can win, then refuses the cells outright. Ordered to kill him, the new monsters charge and are swiftly dismantled, Suiryu even using Benpatsu's body to neutralize Volten's electricity. Choze proves tougher, hurling energy and stabbing with his horns, but Suiryu breaks the horns and finishes him with his Dark Body Phoenix Rising Fist, noting how long it has been since he bled. When Gouketsu offers a final cell, Suiryu flings it back in his face and is smashed to the ground, coughing blood.
In City-Q, Garou attacks Watchdog Man atop a heap of slain monsters, but every strike of his Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist is parried, and the hero fights with the unpredictable ferocity of an animal. Back in the arena, Gouketsu batters Suiryu, throws him to the Crows as feed, and watches Bakuzan reject the champion's pleas before greedily swallowing several cells and collapsing. Elsewhere the monster Gyoffrey menaces the recovering Mumen Rider until a healed Tanktop Master tackles it out of the hospital. Sneck and Lightning Max return in their hero gear to save Suiryu and defeat the Crows, insisting on standing against Gouketsu because it is their duty, and are crushed for it. As Suiryu tries to flee, a transformed Bakuzan, now judged to have reached Dragon level, strikes him down. Gyoro Gyoro recalls Gouketsu to the base before the S-Class can arrive, and he departs after warning the cocky Bakuzan of stronger monsters ahead. Bakuzan tortures the broken, surrendering Suiryu, who screams for any hero to help him, seemingly to silence, until Saitama appears, shields the fallen Sneck and Max, tells Suiryu his cries were heard, and turns to face Bakuzan.
Gouketsu reveals the monster cells and converts several tournament fighters into monsters. Suiryu refuses and single-handedly defeats the transformed contestants, including Choze, before Gouketsu overpowers him. Garou's assault on Watchdog Man is completely repelled. Bakuzan devours multiple cells, ascends to a Dragon-level monster, and brutalizes the defeated Suiryu. Saitama arrives to protect the downed heroes and confront Bakuzan, answering Suiryu's plea.
Under the title The Resistance of the Strong, this Super Fight Arc episode adapts chapters 66 through 74. It debuted in Japan on May 28, 2019, and in English on November 30, 2019, keeping Seijaku no Apostle and Chizu ga Nakute mo Modoru Kara as its themes. The adaptation relocates Garou's fight against Watchdog Man here, shows Gyoro Gyoro more heavily in Gouketsu's flashback, and has Saitama guard both Sneck and Max, whereas the manga limits his rescue to Sneck alone.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
