The outfit is a modest crew of low-level crooks who make their living shaking down businesses across Z-City. There is nothing polished about them; members dress in everyday street clothes such as tracksuits rather than any kind of gang uniform.

Their base of operations is tucked away inside a cluster of apartments in a single-story building rented out by an elderly landlady in Z-City. By an odd twist of fate, this is the very same run-down building where Saitama used to live, which sets up their eventual collision with him.

The gang's role is straightforward extortion, leaning on shopkeepers for protection-style payments. Fish of Darkness leads the operation, and beneath his obvious greed and his scheme to seize the Draper's tailor shop lies a darker urge: a desire to wreck nearly everything around him.

Their downfall comes in the OVA Road to Hero. One member visits the Draper to collect an overdue payment, really extortion money, and keeps pressuring the tailor until Saitama walks in. The thug reports back that the Draper still cannot pay, and Fish of Darkness moves to take the shop. Saitama then beats down every gang member and defeats the boss to protect the store.

Fish of Darkness serves as the leader, with Caramel Macchiato Kaito listed among the members, and both survive their encounter. After the fight, Fish of Darkness reveals that he and the whole gang carry A-Class bounties, prompting Saitama to call the police.

A final twist complicates the arrest. Saitama tells the landlady he has handled the criminals, expecting it to settle his back rent, only to learn the gang members were her tenants and her chief source of income. The furious old woman snaps that if she had wanted them turned in, she would have phoned the police herself.
