Prison Supporters

The unit is assembled from convicts pulled out of prisons across the globe and put to work assisting heroes, still dressed in their prison uniforms. Puri-Puri Prisoner leads them and has given them the alternate self-styled name the Puri-Puri Prison Partners.

By Puri-Puri Prisoner's own measure, the fighters' hard-won combat experience makes them the equals of B-Class heroes. In practice they come across as shaky and easily frightened by monsters, and they favor fighting bare-handed over using weapons.

The group exists to reinforce the heroes during the crises of the Robot Invasion Arc. They make their mark by taking down the Wolf-level monster Tentacle Muffler, a showing that earns Hammerhead praise from Puri-Puri Prisoner for his fighting potential. When Raiden arrives and moves to detain the convicts, Puri-Puri Prisoner stands up for them, and Raiden, recognizing his spirit, backs off.

Their support role turns costly during the global robot invasion, when the squad is deployed into the city to fight. They join forces with the Super Sumo Squad and beat back the robots, only for the Neo suits to seize control of the sumo wrestlers and turn them on the group. Despite Puri-Puri Prisoner's efforts to shield his partners, the possessed wrestlers defeat them.

Puri-Puri Prisoner serves as the group's leader and driving force, with Hammerhead listed among its members, and both are recorded as active. The rest of the squad is drawn from unnamed inmates around the world.

Hammerhead stands out as the member Puri-Puri Prisoner singles out for his combat ability, marking him as the group's most promising fighter during the battle against Tentacle Muffler.
