The Society for the Research of Special Powers was a high school club in One-Punch Man led by a young Fubuki and dedicated to studying the paranormal. What began as an ordinary student group fractured as Psykos turned toward radical ideas, planting the seeds of the rivalry between the two future espers.
The Society for the Research of Special Powers, rendered in Japanese as Inō Kenkyūkai, was a school club that Fubuki headed during her student days. Its members were ordinary high schoolers drawn together by a fascination with paranormal phenomena, and outwardly none of them stood apart from any other civilian.
They dressed in everyday clothes or their school uniforms, blending in completely with the crowd. Of the whole membership, only Fubuki and her vice president Psykos are thought to have held genuine paranormal power before the Invisible Hand entered the picture.
The club took shape as a social circle for young people curious about the supernatural. As its profile rose and it drew closer to the Invisible Hand, Psykos soured on humanity and began steering the group toward extremism, going so far as to argue for wiping out humankind. The other members refused to follow her down that path.
With Psykos increasingly in the spotlight, Fubuki grew envious and locked her rival's powers away inside her own mind, branding Psykos an enemy. The group's final fate is never confirmed, but it is presumed to have broken up soon afterward, since the two women later speak of each other only as the former president and former vice president.
Fubuki served as president and Psykos as her vice president, and both remain alive well into the present-day narrative. The membership also came to overlap with the Invisible Hand, whose individuals are listed among the group with their status left unknown. The falling-out between its two leaders is what ultimately unraveled the society.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
The Society for the Research of Special Powers was a high school club in One-Punch Man dedicated to studying paranormal phenomena, led by a young Fubuki.
Fubuki founded and presided over the Society for the Research of Special Powers, with Psykos serving as her vice president.
The Society for the Research of Special Powers fell apart after Psykos grew disillusioned with humanity and pushed the group toward extremist ideas, causing a rift with Fubuki that ended the club.
Only Fubuki and her vice president Psykos are believed to have held genuine paranormal power among the club's members, who were otherwise ordinary high schoolers.
After Fubuki grew envious of Psykos's rising influence and sealed her rival's powers away, the two became enemies, and the club is presumed to have disbanded, with its former leaders now speaking of each other only by their old club titles.
