Metal Knight Unit

This robot is the combat platform Bofoi controls from afar, and he treats it as his go-to machine above all his others. In build it is enormous and menacing, with a bank of cannons rising from its back. A trio of circular markings sits on its face, and a yellow hazard triangle is painted across its rear.

Because Bofoi operates it remotely, the unit lets him wage battles and conduct research without ever exposing himself. Over time the Monster Association would study a damaged version of it, using the stolen data to spin off knockoff robots of their own.

The machine's headline weapon is its missile payload, powerful enough to make the dragon-level Elder Centipede register pain, though Bofoi admitted the monster took no real damage; Genos likewise judged the missiles to carry tremendous destructive force. Rocket engines give it flight, and retractable suction pads let it cling to surfaces, which Bofoi used to hold onto Elder Centipede while retreating below ground.

Its frame boasts notable durability, a point Bofoi stressed when recalling that Orochi punched through its hands and body in one blow. The unit also hides a self-destruct system, although in that same fight it was wrecked before the mechanism could trigger. Bofoi can additionally talk through the robot and network his other machines to it, pooling their data to improve efficiency in the field.

Bofoi is the builder and pilot. The unit first appeared testing its firepower on an incoming meteorite, unleashing a wave of missiles that exploded against the rock yet failed to halt it, stunning both Bofoi and Genos. During the monster crisis it attacked Elder Centipede in S-City, where Bofoi used the encounter to harvest a shell sample for weapon research. Orochi later crippled it and hung its broken pieces in chains inside the Monster Association Headquarters, though Bofoi kept using the wreck to spy on Orochi and Gyoro Gyoro. G5 removed its head for study before returning it, and Child Emperor eventually pulled the hostage-location data from the captured unit. The Monster Association reverse-engineered its system into their own robots, two of which attacked Zombieman before he destroyed them thanks to Child Emperor's advance planning.
