Chapter 119

Still swimming through the stone walls of the Monster Association's lair in search of Nyan, Puri-Puri Prisoner emerges into a torture chamber and finds a chained figure who looks unconscious. Unaware he is looking at the Hero Hunter, he takes the man for a captured human and moves in to set him loose while naming himself an S-Class hero. His recognition of the wanted face comes an instant too late: Garou wakes, tears through his bonds, and pounds the hero into the floor, leaving him stunned at the scale of his blunder.

At the same time, Saitama drifts through the base, still after anyone who can explain the disturbance beneath his home. A monster leaps out and is gone in a single strike. Around the next bend waits Flashy Flash, who takes him for a monster and swings; Saitama dodges without trouble. Startled, Flash recalls him as the B-Class hero who once shadowed Genos at an S-Class gathering. Stung that his ambush missed, Flash resorts to his Flash Slash, and Saitama simply grips the blade in one hand. When the two argue over who the real monster is, Flash warns him they are surrounded by the enemy and names the Monster King, Orochi, thrilling a Saitama who does not realize the king is already dead. Flash bolts to shake him off, only to find the Caped Baldy keeping stride the whole way.

Puri-Puri Prisoner unwittingly frees Garou and is beaten for the mistake. Saitama kills an ambushing monster in one hit and meets Flashy Flash, who takes him for an enemy. Saitama catches Flash's signature slash barehanded and, refusing to be left behind, matches the ninja's full speed.

Belonging to the Monster Association Arc, this chapter appears in Volume 25 and draws partially on webcomic chapters 62, 65, and 66.
