The Volume 26 chapter finds Bang and Bomb landing a combined strike on Overgrown Rover, only for the tireless dog monster to shrug it off, until a simple command to sit brings it to heel and clears the heroes' path.
Bang and Bomb finish off a joint technique against Overgrown Rover, and Fubuki looks on in amazement, convinced the beast has finally fallen. She is especially struck by Bomb, having taken him for a plain old man, and moves to bring him into her Blizzard Group. Her pitch is cut short when Rover springs back to its feet, none the worse and full of energy despite the brothers' combined blow. Exasperated, Bang orders the creature to sit and behave, and to everyone's astonishment it obeys, letting the group move on unopposed.
Elsewhere, Flashy Flash and Saitama ride a mine cart toward the Monster King's lair, steered by Manako, who plans to send the cart plunging to their deaths at a switch point. A Gyoro Gyoro drone clings to the ceiling above, keeping watch. Yet when Manako sees just how far the drop falls, nerves get the better of her and she cannot bring herself to go through with it.
Bang and Bomb's combination attack fails to keep Overgrown Rover down, but Bang subdues the monster with a spoken command to sit. Fubuki tries to recruit Bomb into her group. On the mine cart, Manako intends to kill Flashy Flash and Saitama with a rigged drop but loses her nerve at the sight of the fall.
