Summary

High above the ruined city, the clash against the reborn union of Psykos and Orochi grows fiercer. Genos commits to knocking aside the energy fired by Orochi's dragon heads, and when Psykos launches an enormous burst at Tatsumaki, the cyborg throws himself into its path and answers with a beam of his own. As the two attacks grind against each other, he tells Tatsumaki to pull the stranded heroes out of the Monster Association's tower while he keeps the enemy occupied.

Tatsumaki lifts the trapped fighters free of the structure. Genos trades one more exchange with the fusion, cancels an incoming strike, then seizes up, his body no longer able to move. When Psykos shoots to end him, Tatsumaki drops in to guard the crippled hero, turns the blast away, and presses Psykos with questions about Fubuki until dread takes hold of the monster.

Down at street level, Fubuki stands with Bang and Bomb and watches her older sister gather immense power overhead, understanding that she means to close the fight for good. Still marveling at that strength, Psykos is caught in Tatsumaki's grip along with the enemy stronghold itself.

Key Events

Beneath the surface, blood from the contorted fusion of Psykos and Orochi bleeds upward through the earth. Atomic Samurai hunts for his students but turns up no trace of Iaian, while Child Emperor reaches only the ping of Zombieman's locator with no voice behind it. Pig God then arrives to cover Child Emperor as rubble rains down.

In another underground pocket, Saitama presses Manako over whether her leader caused all the destruction, anxious about his apartment, as the pair keep digging Flashy Flash out from under the debris. King, hauling Tareo along, is driven back down a stairwell when the buildings around them cave in. Overhead, Tatsumaki stays locked on twisting Psykos, her battle drawing toward its end.
