Summary

The rise of Sage Centipede and Evil Ocean Water horrifies Sekingar, Needle Star, and Mizuki, who all want distance from the twin threats. Garou's combos land well against the centipede, stunning it, until he spots Tareo aboard a helicopter and taunts the monster to draw its focus. Sage Centipede senses the boy matters to Garou and warns him to hold still, threatening to down the aircraft with Evil Ocean Water's Great Oceanic Cannon. It then hammers Garou with its Centipede Grand March while the water beast joins the barrage, sending him flying.

Racing toward the sea, Saitama leaps at Evil Ocean Water and lands a Serious Punch that wipes it out and cleaves the ocean apart, baffling Sage Centipede. With the carrier Gotz Okkie exposed and no footing to lift it, Saitama rides its deck like a surfboard to escape the tsunami. Believing the water beast beaten, Sage Centipede chases the helicopter carrying Tareo and Waganma, with a recovered Garou in pursuit and Metal Bat pouncing onto the creature.

Garou and Metal Bat collide mid-chase, startled to meet again. When a news helicopter draws the centipede's ire, Metal Bat blocks an antenna strike while Garou boards it and scares the crew into fleeing. Metal Bat notes that Garou attacked the monster and saved the aircraft, seeming more level-headed than in his human days. Garou answers that he means to show the world his terror and that they must buy time for the rescue chopper, and after bickering over who plays decoy, the two agree to fight together. At the Hero Association Hospital, Suiryu and Suiko watch on television, with Suiryu convinced Garou has no intent to harm the people aboard.
